Caldeira Velha Environmental Interpretation Centre

Leaving from the Ribeira Grande city centre, and referring to the Health Centre on your left, go forward on the Rua Adolfo de Medeiros (street) and the Rua de São Francisco (street). Then, turn left on Rua de São Sebastião e continue through Rua Artur Hintze Ribeiro until the junction with the Regional Road (ER3-1). From there, move to the Estrada da Lagoa do Fogo and, after 3.6 kilometres, you will find the sign indicating Caldeira Velha Natural Monument.
