Gruta das Torres Visitors Centre

Gruta das Torres is located in the parish of Criação Velha, 8 kilometres from the municipality of Madalena and about 10 minutes away by car. Follow in the direction of the parish of Criação Velha and you will find the respective signpost.

If you use a GPS application, always follow the asphalt road and not secondary dirt roads. If you decide to walk or cycle, the route will take about 2 hours. Drive with moderation, as there is often loose cattle on the road.

As the Centre is located at an altitude of 300 metres, part of the route is quite steep, so it is advisable to take a bottle of water and appropriate clothing, bearing in mind the climate change.
