The management reserves the right to close the establishment, according to the weather conditions.
ATTENTION
All Centres will be closed on 24, 25 and 31 December and on 1 January as well.
Out of the Mountain's House opening times, you should head to the Madalena Volunteer Fire Department, located at Rua do Colégio (ER 1-2), 9950-362 Madalena (+351 292 628 300 | [email protected]).

Prices
Fees to climb the Pico Mountain | Individual climbs
Climb to the Furna Abrigo : € 5.00
Climb to the Crater : € 15.00
Climb to the Piquinho/Pico Pequeno : € 25.00
Overnight Stay at the Crater : € 10.00
Resident of the Azores* : Free
*Upon presentation of the Citizen Card.
Children up to 12 years of age must be accompanied by an individual of legal age during the visit.
Minors under the age of 16 must be accompanied by their parental authority or an individual of legal age, duly authorized by a written statement of the first, when climbing Pico Mountain.
People with disability or noticeable impairment legally recognized must contact the environmental centre directly.
Tracking equipment (GPS):
It is given to each visitor a tracking equipment. At the time the tracking equipment is provided, visitors can choose to pay an exclusion of liability tax in the amount of 30€.
Not returning the equipment or damaging it, requires the payment of the following values:
Not returning the GPS with exclusion of liability tax: 270€
Not returning the GPS without exclusion of liability tax: 300€
Damage of the GPS without exclusion of liability tax: 300€
Locker Rental: 2,00 €
