Contemplation zone of Caldeira de Guilherme Moniz

From this viewpoint, it is possible to observe the Caldeira de Guilherme Moniz Protected Area for Resources Management. With 1216 hectares and altitudes between 300 and 650 metres, this protected area integrates a large collapse caldera with a 15 kilometres perimeter.

Here, you can also enjoy the natural landscape, characterized by the presence of rocky outcrops, natural woodlands and wetlands, with the humanized landscape, where the cattle, as the Toiro de Lide (bull), has its leading exponent in the Caldeira de Guilherme Moniz.
