From this viewpoint, located at the top of the only volcanic pit of Graciosa, you can see, in the northwest, the soft relief sprinkled with scoria cones of Guadalupe parish and, in the distance, the parish of Santa Cruz da Graciosa with its historic village of whitewashed houses. In the southeast, it is possible to distinguish the three volcanic massifs that make up the most mountainous area of the island, namely, the Serra das Fontes, the Serra Dormida and the Caldeira da Graciosa.
