Ponta da Barca Lighthouse

Ponta da Barca Lighthouse is located on the northwest coast of Graciosa and is over 80 years old. It has the highest tower among all existing lighthouses in the Azores, from where it is possible to see the Ilhéu da Baleia (islet), a peculiar volcanic chimney with prismatic disjunction, and endless marine birdlife.
