This maritime area has about 209 hectares and faces the Ponta dos Rosais.
This protected area is home to a wide variety of organisms, from algae and small crustaceans to the big fish that visit the area in search of food, such as Seriola sp., Sphyraena viridensis, among others.
This area neighbours the Ponta dos Rosais Special Area of Conservation (SAC), within the Natura 2000 Network.
