Pico Wild Birds Rehabilitation Centre

The Pico Wild Bird Rehabilitation Centre has as main objective the recovery of injured or debilitated wild birds in order to return them safely to nature.

It also functions as a point of environmental promotion and awareness to the population, alerting to the good practices of how to handle wounded animals and teaching about the birds of the Region, as well as those that pass through here.

By appointment, visitors can take a guided tour of the Centre's facilities and possibly observe the species in recovery at that time.
