Lagoas Funda e Rasa

This viewpoint, localized in the Caldeiras Funda e Rasa Nature Reserve, offers an excellent view over the Lagoa Funda and Lagoa Rasa (lagoons). 

The first has a depth of around 30 metres, a waterfall and very high margins, and also a great variety of endemic flora of the Azores. In this caldera, it is also possible to observe several resident birds. The second has a depth of about 16 metres and very high margins. Here, you can observe several endemic species of the Azorean flora.
