Quinta do Canto located in the countryside, in Flamengos parish, is just ten minutes from the city of Horta and the airport. The Quinta is formed by the Main House and the Casa da Eira. The surrounding area has been transformed into leisure areas.
Ancient places like the tank “eira” (threshing floor) where cereals were threshed, is now transformed into a pleasant terrace where you could see the parish to the Caldeira or the Monte Carneiro and Pico Mountain.
In the gardens of the Quinta, dominated by flowers and fruit trees, old recovered farm implements adorn the stone walls. The fragrance of flowers and the freshness of the countryside are constant in this magic environment. A great way to enjoy nature at the same time contemplating some of the history and tradition of the island.
