This marine area, with 891 hectares, is located on the island’s north coast, near the sea-cliffs of Cedros parish.

It has zones formed by lava flows, of irregular and quite fractured surface and, in the lowest locals, small sedimentary spots of sand deposits and some small pebbles. At the bottom of the slope is notable the existence of large rocks interspersed with clear sandy areas.

The characteristic fauna of this area is the Labrus bergylta, and the dominant flora is constituted by red algae, such as Corallina officinalis.
