Espigão

From Espigão Viewpoint it is possible to observe one of the most appreciated views of the island, the Baía de São Lourenço, a well-cut and a well-trimmed semicircular bay, where the terraced fields of vines are arranged in a natural amphitheatre. The viewpoint also allows contemplating the Ilhéu do Romeiro (islet), a nesting place for many seabirds. In the centre of this viewpoint is a shady area and tables that allow visitors to enjoy a moment of leisure.
