Ribeira de São Francisco

The stream mouth of Ribeira de São Francisco, commonly called “Calhau da Roupa”, is located on the southern coast of the island, on the peripheries of Vila do Porto, near the port area. It is the entrance for many tourists that come to visit the island, and for some migratory birds that rest and search for food on the stream and the marina.
