The "Friend of Nature" program is currently in effect, which aims to promote knowledge and disseminate the value of the natural heritage of the Azores archipelago, particularly regarding tourism and products offered by the Autonomous Region of the Azores, focusing on the adoption of good environmental practices in conjunction with citizens and public and private organizations.
