LIFE SNAILS – First Zimbral for LIFE Seminar

The LIFE SNAILS project participated in the first Zimbral for LIFE Seminar, held at the University of Évora.

On the first day, the project contributed to the discussion on monitoring flora and fauna, producing endemic plants and controlling invasive alien plants (IAS). This participation was crucial for the exchange of knowledge and conservation practices between the various projects present (LIFE Scrubsnet, LIFE Alnus Taejo, LIFE Lines and LIFE BIOAs).

On the second day, the participants visited the intervention areas in the Comporta/Galé Special Area of Conservation (SAC), where they observed the conservation actions underway and discussed practical strategies for tackling common challenges.
