LIFE SNAILS - LIFE Programme and Natura Network Day

On 21 May, LIFE Programme and Natura 2000 Network Day is celebrated, and LIFE SNAILS will celebrate this date with an action called "Looking for Snails", encouraging the community to participate in the identification and protection of this often-neglected group of animals.

Santa Maria snails are in danger of extinction, so through these educational and awareness-raising activities, LIFE SNAILS is promoting awareness of the importance of these small gastropods in the balance of ecosystems.
