𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙦𝙪𝙚 𝙀𝙨𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙖 Activity: Getting to know LIFE VIDALIA in Santa Maria

Within the scope of Parque Escola and the LIFE VIDALIA project, the Santa Maria Nature Park, through the Ecoteca, has promoted, during the current school year, several activities on endemic species Azorina vidalii and Lotus azoricus.

The activity “Getting to know LIFE VIDALIA in Santa Maria” was based on the exploration of the exhibition “Get to know LIFE VIDALIA” and promoting games to identify native and invasive species present in the Azorean landscape. This activity aims to sensitize students so that in the future they can easily identify the endemic and native species of the Azores and recognize the harm of invaders in our ecosystems.
