Earth Hour 2024: “Small actions, big impact”

WWF is making a global appeal for people to unite for the planet by disconnecting from distractions, dedicating an hour to sustainable action and recording it in a Hour Bank that will unite the world.
Earth Hour is a historic WWF event, which began on 31 March 2007 in Sydney, Australia, when 2.2 million people and more than 2,000 companies switched off their lights for 60 minutes as a warning about the loss of nature due to climate change and the need to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
