International Day of Forests

In celebration of this event, the Regional Secretariat for the Environment and Climate Action promoted activities within the scope of the LIFE projects aimed at the school community, namely a plantation of endemic species in one of the LIFE BEETLES intervention areas on the island of Terceira.

This activity was in a partnership with the Azores Environment Observatory and around 20 participants from Casa do Povo do Porto Judeu and day nursery, kindergarten and after-school club “O Ninho”.
