Interview with Radio Santa Maria – Asas do Atlântico

LIFE SNAILS and LIFE Beetles, coordinated by the Regional Secretariat for the Environment and Climate Action, as well as malacologist Professor Dr Frias Martins, gave an interview to radio station Asas do Atlântico about the recent scientific expedition to Santa Maria. During the interview, they discussed the objectives of the expedition, the preliminary results, and the importance of conserving the project's target species (Azorivitrina angulosa, Leptaxis minor and Oxychilus agostinhoi). This opportunity made it possible to publicise research and conservation efforts in the Region, as well as raise public awareness of the importance of protecting local biodiversity.
