On 25 October, the Regional Government promotes the International Conference on Climate Change that will take place at Coliseu Micaelense, Ponta Delgada.

The International Conference on Climate Change is the conclusion of the INTERREG MAC PLANCLIMAC project. This event aims to showcase some of the most important projects under the remit of the Regional Secretariat for the Environment and Climate Change, which focus on adapting to and mitigating climate change in the Azores, such as PLANCLIMAC, the LIFE IP CLIMAZ project and the Roadmap for Carbon Neutrality of the Azores, thus presenting the work that has been carried out in the Region to implement the Regional Climate Change Programme.

It will also feature international speakers who will present projects implemented in Europe and North America aimed at assessing and monitoring climate change.
