LIFE SNAILS project signage is already in place!

As part of the communication plan foreseen in action E1, the LIFE SNAILS project installed interpretative panels in strategic locations on Santa Maria Island to provide knowledge about the snail species targeted by the project. Awareness of the importance of the species and threats to their natural habitat is crucial to encourage the participation of the local community and visitors in nature conservation practices.

In addition to information in text and image, cartography, endemic fauna, and invasive flora to be controlled, the panels feature a QR code that directs users to the project's website where they can obtain more detailed information and follow the development of the actions developed in this area.
