Azores Seed Bank open to the community - National Nature Conservation Day

On National Nature Conservation Day, celebrated annually on 28 July, we celebrate the importance of protecting and preserving our natural resources for present and future generations. It is a day to reflect on biodiversity, ecosystems and the need to act for a healthier planet.

The Regional Secretariat for the Environment and Climate Change invites you to celebrate this date with us and get to know the work carried out by the Azores Seed Bank, throughout its 20 years of existence, through a guided tour that will include the field testing of traditional varieties. Don't miss this opportunity to learn about the importance of environmental preservation, our cultural origins and how we can contribute to a more sustainable future.
