Final Conference of the LIFE VIDALIA project
May 18, 2023
The LIFE VIDALIA project, coordinated by the Regional Secretariat for the Environment and Climate Change, held its final conference last April to present the objectives achieved, the methods developed and/or improved and the main findings that have been recorded throughout the implementation of the project.
Throughout an event that marks the culmination of the work done during the project, there were presentations from representatives of the European Commission's Directorate General for Environment, from other LIFE projects, such as LIFE IP AZORES NATURA – also coordinated by the Regional Secretariat for the Environment and Climate Change – and the Madeiran project LIFE DUNAS, as well as from the “Plantar uma Árvore” Association, promoter of volunteering actions in partnership with other LIFE projects in the Azores.
This conference, held at the João José da Graça Public Library on the island of Faial, was attended by around 100 national and international participants, both online and in person.
LIFE VIDALIA will end on 30 June 2023, being the continuity of the project's work ensured by the Regional Secretariat for the Environment and Climate Change through the LIFE IP AZORES NATURA project.
