Azorean Government inaugurates supply system and agricultural path on Corvo

The Regional Government of the Azores inaugurated last week the water supply system of Casinha Velha and the agricultural path of Palheiros, on Corvo, initiatives integrated in the two-day statutory visit to the island.

The inaugurations were presided by the President of the Regional Government, José Manuel Bolieiro, and were also attended by the Secretaries of Agriculture (António Ventura) and Environment (Alonso Miguel).

Regarding Casinha Velha, a 30-metre pipeline in 63 mm HDPE pipe and a 98 m3 reservoir were installed, in a total investment of around 32 thousand euros, covering 328 hectares and 34 farms.

As for Caminho dos Palheiros, 100 metres of the pathway were paved, with a width of 3 metres, in an investment of 28 thousand euros, covering 2.7 hectares and ten farms.
