LIFE VIDALIA holds Final Project Conference
On 26 April, the LIFE VIDALIA – Valorização e Inovação Dirigidos à Azorina e Lotus nas Ilhas Açorianas (LIFE17 NAT/PT/000510), a project co-financed by the European Union through the LIFE Programme and implemented in the Region by the Regional Secretariat for the Environment and Climate Change, will hold the Final Conference of the Project, which ends its execution phase on 30 June 2023.
LIFE VIDALIA aims at the conservation of two endemic species of flora protected by Annex B-II of the Habitats Directive and priorities for conservation: Azorina vidalii and Lotus azoricus, in about 72 ha, in the three islands of the triangle, covering nine areas of Natura 2000 Network.
With about two months to go before the end of the project, technical progress has advanced to a level that allows us to ensure and guarantee the execution of the foreseen objectives that will continue to leverage a set of complementary results in the five years post-LIFE.
To learn about the results of the project and of some partners, attend the conference. To do so, you must register free of charge, but you must use the form available here.
