Photography contest “Biosphere Reserves of the Azores”

As part of the first Festival of Biosphere Reserves of Portugal, the Regional Secretariat for the Environment and Climate Change promotes the photography contest that aims to stimulate, recognize and reward creativity in the field of photography of the landscapes of the Biosphere Reserves of the Azores (Flores, Corvo, Graciosa and Fajãs de São Jorge).
The photographs can be submitted by 23h59 on 13 April, and an exhibition with the photographs in the competition will be held on 22 April during the opening ceremony of the festival on the island of Graciosa, where the following prizes will be awarded:
- 1st Prize - Set of books Field Guide of Terrestrial Fauna of the Azores and Field Guide of Azorean Native Flora + two nights' accommodation for two people at INATEL Graciosa Hotel;
- 2nd Prize - Set of books Field Guide of Terrestrial Fauna of the Azores and Field Guide of Azorean Native Flora + basket of products of the brand Biosfera Açores;
- 3rd Prize - Set of books Field Guide of Terrestrial Fauna of the Azores and Field Guide of Azorean Native Flora.
