LIFE SNAILS participates in the Regional Meeting on Environmental Education (EREA)

LIFE SNAILS participated in the 15th Regional Meeting on Environmental Education on March 1, 2 and 3 on Terceira island under the theme “Environmental Education as a pillar of sustainable development”. A round table was held with LIFE IP AZORES NATURA, IP CLIMAZ, BEETLES and VIDALIA, moderated by the journalist of RTP Açores, Marta Silva. The event gathered 110 people.

Took place on day 3 a workshop with the presence of 15 teachers, developed in the intervention area TER4 of LIFE BEETLES located next to Algar do Carvão, having as its main objective the identification of nature-based solutions able to serve as habitat or refuge for terrestrial molluscs and that can be replicated in the intervention areas of LIFE SNAILS, according to some key indicators.
