Earth Hour 2023: a renewed vision 🌎 #BiggestHourForEarth
March 24, 2023
"Since its beginnings in 2007, Earth Hour has been known for its "lights out" moment – a symbolic event to show our collective support for the planet. But this year, we are stepping up our action, breathing new life into Earth Hour, our work, and our mission by creating the biggest hour for the planet #BiggestHourForEarth.
On 25 March 2023, at 20h30*, as lights go out on monuments and homes worldwide, we're asking everyone to take 60 minutes to do something positive for our planet.
Just 60 minutes? Yes, just one hour. It may not sound like much, but the magic happens when everyone from Asia to Africa, North and South America, Oceania and Europe donates an hour to care for our only home.
Together, we can create a rare moment of unity for the planet, highlighting the loss of nature and the climate crisis on a global scale and inspiring others to act and advocate for urgent change.
Whether it's individuals, businesses, community leaders, a village or a city, we invite you to be part of the greatest moment on Earth, for Earth.
