1ˢᵗ Meeting of the LIFE SNAILS Education Programme (action E3)

The first meeting between the LIFE SNAILS project, coordinated by the Regional Secretariat for the Environment and Climate Change, and the Regional Secretariat for Education and Cultural Affairs, was held on 28 November to guide the implementation of the new educational program aimed at Primary Education on the island of Santa Maria, to raise awareness of the importance of biodiversity in the Azores and the urgent need for conservation.
To supervise and support the implementation of this work, the project will have an environmental education assistant to oversee pedagogical issues.
The work will be carried out in close coordination with the Regional Secretariat for Education and Cultural Affairs.
