Microplastics - From textile to the sea in a laundry
Oct. 21, 2022
Most textile products are made of synthetic plastic fibres, such as polyester. During the washing process, microplastic particles are released from the clothes and end up in the sea, thus harming marine biodiversity and human health.
To avoid this problem, we recommend using fabrics made of natural fibres such as silk, cotton, and wool (preferably organic) instead of synthetic fibres, such as polyester and elastane.
