The Regional Secretariat for the Environment and Climate Change, through the Waste Management Division, develops and implements waste management plans, with prevention and reduction being the priority of this management. As waste producers, we must contribute to the prevention of waste production and ensure its separation to facilitate its selective collection and subsequent recovery.

Today's tip is to use environmentally friendly deodorants, from alum sticks to deodorants without packaging or in compostable cardboard tubes. Other sustainable alternatives are exchanging plastic toothbrushes for bamboo ones, traditional toothpaste for solid toothpaste, and even cotton buds for their ecological versions (cotton, bamboo, wood).
