Ecology Day

The Portuguese Ecological Society (SPECO) promotes Ecology Day: the largest and only initiative entirely dedicated to Ecology. The main goal of this day is to build a bridge between academia and society, toward the construction of a more sustainable future.

On 14 September, Ecology Day presents a program full of activities and educational resources on the most diverse topics in the field of Ecology, to captivate and raise awareness among the general public.

The Regional Secretariat for the Environment and Climate Change joins this celebration through a set of activities promoted by LIFE projects.
