Day Against Pollution

Day Against Pollution

Aug. 14, 2022

The Day Against Pollution celebrated on 14 August aims to raise the population's awareness of the importance of preventing the damages caused to the environment resulting from human activities that directly affect our life quality.

In this sense, the Regional Secretariat for the Environment and Climate Change has been making efforts to mitigate this problem, namely through the LIFE IP CLIMAZ project, using renewable energies, decarbonising transport, and increasing the public network of electric vehicle chargers. At the same time, it is developing a pilot platform of shared urban mobility and two demonstration projects, one for an urban cycle lane and another for cattle feed production that reduces methane emissions.
