International Plastic Bag Free Day

On this International Plastic Bag Free Day, the Regional Secretariat for the Environment and Climate Change appeals to the Azorean population to reduce the use of plastic bags through the implementation of good environmental practices, changing consumption habits and fighting waste, promoting sustainable development, centred on the principles of a green and circular economy.

Replace plastic bags with cloth bags. In addition to being reusable, cloth bags are more resistant and durable, avoiding waste. Help us protect the environment.
