2ⁿᵈ EDITION – Online training course on Photovoltaic Solar Energy

The Regional Secretariat for the Environment and Climate Change, through the LIFE IP CLIMAZ project, joins the Regional Directorate for Energy, an associated beneficiary of the project, on the 2nd Edition of the Training course on Photovoltaic Solar Energy.

This free initiative is aimed at professionals in the energy sector, namely installers, commercial technicians and designers, who carry out their activity in the Azores. It will last for six hours and take place online on 18 and 19 May, from 14h to 17h via the Zoom platform.

This training action will enable trainees to identify and characterise solar photovoltaic systems' equipment and components and be better qualified to carry out their installation, resulting in an update of their technical knowledge.

The Regional Government is committed to the execution of a work of excellence in the Azores in the installation of this equipment, thus contributing to the use of renewable energy sources for self-consumption and promoting the reduction of Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions.
