“Finding the Stream” activity

The Regional Secretariat for the Environment and Climate Change promotes several environmental awareness activities between 25 and 28 March, within the celebrations of the World Water Day, for schools and the general public. 

The participants will have the opportunity to visit a stream to monitor it, identifying situations in the regional watercourses needing intervention, thus supporting the decision-making process on establishing priorities for action on each island. 

This set of activities aims to raise awareness among the population about the vulnerability of the region's watercourses to climate change.
