LIFE VIDALIA partners with Pousada Forte da Horta

The Regional Secretariat for the Environment and Climate Change, within the LIFE VIDALIA project's actions and with the collaboration of the Faial Botanic Garden, established a partnership with the Pousada Forte da Horta for the replacement of alien plants on the flowerbeds in the pool area by native and endemic plants characteristic of the habitat covered by the project.

This way, between 14 and 17 February, the LIFE VIDALIA and Faial Botanic Garden teams planted specimens of Azorina vidallii, Festuca petraea, Silene uniflora ssp. uniflora, Myosotis maritima, Crithmum maritimum and Plantago coronopus. They also installed the plants' respective nameplates and an informative sign about LIFE VIDALIA and Faial Botanic Garden.
