Faial Botanic Garden

For 40 years, the Faial Botanic Garden has been dedicated to the conservation and study of the natural flora of the Azores, scientific dissemination, and the promotion of environmental awareness. To mark this special date, the Regional Secretariat for the Environment and Climate Action invites the entire community to visit the only institutional Botanic Garden in the Region and participate in the celebrations.

Throughout today, all visitors can enjoy:

Free entry;

Birthday cake, and infusions prepared with aromatic plants from the Botanic Garden (offer limited to existing stock).
