The protected areas of the Azores play a fundamental role in nature conservation, contributing to the preservation of biodiversity and the enhancement of our natural heritage.

Protecting these spaces is investing in the sustainability and future of our islands. When visiting the walking trails, adopt responsible behaviours and comply with the Code of Conduct*: stay on the marked trails, respect the fauna and flora, leave nothing but footprints and take nothing but memories and photographs.
