LIFE IP AZORES NATURA takes part in INTER LIFE PT 2026 in Évora

LIFE IP AZORES NATURA, a project coordinated by the Regional Secretariat for the Environment and Climate Action, attended INTER LIFE PT 2026, which took place in Évora, at a meeting organised by LIFE CAP PT II, coordinated by the Portuguese Environment Agency (APA).

This event brought together LIFE projects from mainland Portugal and the Autonomous Regions of the Azores and Madeira, with Spanish LIFE projects also participating, fostering an atmosphere of collaboration and the sharing of experiences essential to advancing nature conservation, environmental management, and climate action.

Throughout the meeting, participants attended technical presentations on various projects, took part in roundtable discussions with partner organisations, and joined field trips, all of which were fundamental to reinforcing learning and aligning best practices.

The participation of LIFE IP AZORES NATURA enabled deeper networking, strengthened synergies with other projects and reinforced the joint commitment to protecting biodiversity.
