Ludic session with Academia Sénior da Santa Casa da Misericórdia

Last March, the LIFE SNAILS project, coordinated by the Regional Secretariat for the Environment and Climate Action, held an awareness session at the São Carlos Professional School, in Angra do Heroísmo, aimed at a group of senior citizens.

The activity included a presentation of the project's objectives and actions, promoting awareness of biodiversity conservation, as well as a particularly engaging practical component that allowed for the observation of endemic species from the island of Santa Maria.

This moment provided an enriching educational experience, bringing participants closer to the natural heritage of the Azores and reinforcing the importance of its preservation.
