The new LIFE 2026 call was launched on 21 April, 2026!

This year the European Commission is making €586.5 million available for projects on nature conservation, environmental protection, climate action and the transition to clean energy.

Published calls

- 'Standard Action Projects' (SAP) in 'Nature and biodiversity' (LIFE-2026-SAP-NAT) — €173.5 million

- SAP projects in 'Circular economy and quality of life' (LIFE-2026-SAP-ENV) — €85.5 million

- SAP projects in 'Mitigation and Adaptation to climate change' (LIFE-2026-SAP-CLIMA) — €60 million

- Projects in 'Transition to clean energies' (LIFE-2026-CET) — €85.5 million

- 'Projects for addressing ad hoc Legislative and Policy priorities' (LIFE-2026-PLP) — €18 million

- 'Strategic projects for nature' and 'Integrated strategic projects' (LIFE-2026-STRAT) — €163 million

- 'Technical assistance projects' (LIFE-2026-TA-PP) — €1 million
