Participation of the LIFE BEETLES project in Portugal’s largest nature event!

The LIFE BEETLES project, coordinated by the Regional Secretariat for the Environment and Climate Action, was invited to participate in the 16th Sagres Birdwatching & Nature Activities Festival.

This event brought together over a thousand nature lovers and offered the opportunity to participate in more than 260 outdoor activities, including birdwatching, interpretive walks, workshops, and talks.

Over three days, LIFE BEETLES brought the biodiversity of the Azores to the mainland, with activities for the whole family:

• Insects under the magnifying glass – a journey into the world of insects native to the Azores

• Playing is also learning – educational games about nature conservation

• LIFE BEETLES Discussion – sharing the project’s objectives, actions and results
