As in the past year, and within the scope of the LIFE CAP PT II National Capacity Building Project, which aims to enhance the use of the Programme for the Environment and Climate Action (LIFE) in Portugal, we would like to invite you to participate in the online seminar ‘LIFE Strategic Projects – an instrument for implementing environmental policies’, which will take place online on 26 June, according to the programme in the image.

Strategic Integrated Projects (SIP) and Strategic Nature Projects (SNaP), co-financed by the LIFE Programme, implement large-scale environmental/climate plans and strategies under the responsibility of Member State authorities and required by environmental legislation or EU policies identified in the LIFE priorities.

The seminar aims to raise awareness of the opportunities offered for financing this type of project in support of implementing plans/strategies for which national authorities have implementation responsibilities, as well as to inform and advise potential beneficiaries on the design, structuring and application process.

Given that these types of projects aim to implement large-scale environmental plans and strategies, it would be advisable for individuals with expertise in the respective plans and strategy to participate.
