Public Session of the Management Plan for Land Areas of the Corvo Nature Park

The Regional Secretariat for Environment and Climate Change will promote a public session, open to the population, on the process of public discussion of the Land Area Management Plan of the Corvo Nature Park on July 27, at 6:10 pm, at the Espaço Cultural Multiusos do Corvo, in Vila do Corvo.

The public discussion process has been taking place since June 30 and ends on August 10, 2021 and aims to gather contributions from the population for the Management Plan of Land Areas of the Corvo Nature Park.

The documents that make up the plan, as well as the forms for public participation, can be accessed in person at the Corvo Environment and Climate Change Service, in Vila do Corvo, at the headquarters of the Regional Secretariat for Environment and Climate Change, in Ponta Delgada; or online at www.ot.azores.gov.pt

The purpose of the Management Plans for Land Areas in Nature Parks is to classify the degree of protection of protected areas, and to establish management measures aimed at the conservation or recovery of the ecological, geological, paleontological or landscape values ​​of the places, establishing conditions for this purpose. and interdictions that may prevent damage or prejudice to these same values.
