LIFE BEETLES project takes part in Macaronight Azores

Macaronight is a European project that aims to bring Macaronesian researchers closer to citizens so they can learn about their work, its benefits for society and its impact on everyday life. On 27 September, at the Pavilhão do Mar on the island of São Miguel, the LIFE BEETLES project took part in this event at the invitation of the Angra do Heroísmo Science Centre.

The participation of the project, promoted by the Regional Secretariat for the Environment and Climate Action, consisted of a demonstration of the construction of a Hotel for Insects, accompanied by the observation of the project's species under a magnifying glass. The project's participation in events of this kind allows it to disseminate its objectives and work to various audiences. During the event, around 1600 visitors passed through the pavilion.
