International Bat Night is back!

Take part in activities dedicated to the only mammal endemic to the Azores, the Azorean Bat (Nyctalus azoreum). These are opportunities to discover more about aspects of the biology and ecology of these animals and their importance for the balance of the planet, as well as to listen to and interpret the sounds they emit with the support of ultrasound technology.
Between the 21 and 23 of this month, the Regional Secretariat for the Environment and Climate Action is organising the following environmental awareness actions as part of the LIFE IP AZORES NATURA project:
