Ignimbrite

Volcanic rock composed of long trachytic fragments according to the deposition plans (named fiamme structures) and dispersed in a finer matrix.

It is associated with very violent explosive eruptions (burning clouds), and related to the formation of volcanic calderas.

Curiosity: it is common the presence of coals.
