Limestone
Sedimentary rock composed mainly by calcium carbonate, formed especially in marine environments.
Limestone is usually a compact rock, light-coloured (white, yellow or grey) and fine-grained.
It may contain fossils.
Curiosity: it effervesces in contact with hydrochloric acid.
